Samsung started the line Galaxy S22 release update with One UI 4.1.1 superstructure. She was the first to arrive in the US. It is available for unlocked models from Comcast, Verizon and Xfinity Mobile carriers and carries the firmware version S90xUSQU2AVHB.

While it doesn't include the September security patch, it boosts One UI and brings some improvements to Private Share and Smart View. The update is installed in the familiar way, i.e. by navigating to Settings→Software Update and clicking Download and Install (if you are a customer of the above operators, which is not very likely). Specifically for the Private Share feature, the update introduces the ability to rename files that are shared through it. The Smart View function then displays more options such as Full Screen, Picture in Picture and more.

It may be worth noting that the update with One UI 4.1.1 for the series Galaxy S22 is still based on Androidat 12, no Androidat 12L. One UI 4.1.1 build built on AndroidSamsung reserves the 12L for foldable smartphones Galaxy Z Fold and tablets Galaxy Tab. The update could soon spread to other corners of the world, and of course we hope so too.
