Most androidsmartphones supports the watermark function for photos. A few years ago, Samsung also adopted it, but until now it was only offered in lower and mid-range models, not in "flagships". But that's thanks to the superstructure One UI 5.0 now changing.

It should be noted that Samsung has had the ability to add a watermark to photos for a long time, but on its flagship phones it could only be done after the image was taken. The One UI 5.0 extension changes this – a watermark will be added to each photo automatically when it is saved to the device's gallery. So if you allow it. The watermark feature is highly customizable within the new superstructure. You can choose whether the captured image will have a text string (the text is set to the device name by default, but can be changed), the date and time, or both, and you can also change the alignment of the watermark. And let's not forget, you can also choose between different fonts for the text. Why is this important? This is a clear signature that will be used especially by influencers.

We assume that the watermark feature will be standard in the photography app on all devices that One UI 5.0 will arrive on, and will therefore not be exclusive to the current flagship series Galaxy S22. Low-end and mid-range phones that already have the feature are likely to get new customization options.
