Press Release: StartGuide Company, which wants to invest in more than 50 budding startups in the next two years, has the ambition to offer interesting projects services on the border between angel investors and venture capital funds. "We are not a typical venture capital fund, and that is not our goal either. We want to invest in start-up projects in which we see potential and where we can help with further development through our experience and contacts." explains Petr Jahn, CEO of StartGuide. "We don't want to be just a financial investor, but a real partner in the initial stages of development, who will help direct the project in the right direction and give it everything it needs for the journey to the top," supplies. StartGuide has 150 million CZK ready for investments through StartGuide ONE and plans to open another fund next year.

StartGuide is currently announcing a new investment in its portfolio, which is the Ringil startup project. It is a cloud-based modular logistics platform that offers manufacturing and distribution companies a reliable solution for the complete digitization of their transportation needs. The platform digitizes these operations across the entire shipping process and facilitates control over various systems from emails to phones. "Transportation of goods is one of the largest industries in the world and is sure to grow further in the coming years. Ringil's goal is to enable digitization for medium and large companies, which currently often still use traditional tools such as pencil and paper or, at most, a computer. Digitization will allow them to be more efficient and have better control over their logistics." explains Seen Aquin of StartGuide. Ringil has currently received investments in the order of hundreds of thousands of euros from a group of angel and VC investors, which include, in addition to StartGuide, the Depo Ventures fund or the Silicon Valley angel investor Isaac Applbaum. "We plan to use the obtained funds mainly for recruiting people, scaling the product on the European market and connecting the product with transport partners. We are very happy that StartGuide is among our investors, which helps us not only with financing, but also with the overall strategy for further development and growth management," says André Dravecký from Ringil. StartGuide has previously invested in, for example, Lihovárek, DTS and Nomivers, which owns Campiri.

Another project chosen by StartGuide is BikeFair, an online marketplace for bicycles. The company was founded by Jan Pečník and Dominik Nguyen, who manage it together from Amsterdam. BikeFair allows clients to quickly and safely purchase a new or used bicycle. In the current investment round, the company was looking for funds to support marketing during the key summer period, but also to create a marketing strategy for future growth. "The bicycle segment is booming in European countries and we see great potential here. Cooperation with BikeFair is something we really enjoy and we are happy to provide both financial and non-financial support to the project and help it get off the ground." says Seen Aquin. “One of StartGuide's main contributions to our project is their experience in marketing and data analysis, which is exactly what we need at this time. We have been working together for several months, both in the form of strategic consultations and practical matters, and for us so far it has been a great and useful experience taking place in a very friendly atmosphere," says Jan Pečník from BikeFair.

"Our two new projects exemplify our idea of what StartGuide is. We do not want to participate only in financial aid, but we try to choose projects that interest us in their content and where we see the possibility of actively participating in the important initial stages of their journey to success. All four of us have many years of experience and we believe that we have something to pass on," supplies.

StartGuide is jointly owned by Petr Jahn, who, like the other co-owner Kamil Koupý, has many years of business experience in the field of digital marketing and internet projects. The other two co-owners, Seen Aquin and Petr Novák, helped start-up companies with business as part of their Skokani 21 project, and at the same time both successfully developed their other business activities. Petr Jahn and Seen Aquin hold the executive positions of CEO and COO, while Kamil Koupý and Petr Novák act as consultants and board members.
