The well-known Ice universe leaker publishes not only on his Twitter informace from the supply chain with regard to upcoming phones, but also other content. He recently published a post in which he presents the Space Zoom feature available on the phones of the series Galaxy S with the moniker Ultra.
The post literally states:When it comes to telephoto, the Samsung S22 Ultra is unbeatable. Directly from the hand up to 100x zoom, fast focus, capture with one click, stable, accurate, merciless, unique in the world." This text is accompanied by a short video in which he shows how he photographs the moon. Of course, it's not just about the phone's optics, but above all the software algorithms that then process the photo.
In terms of telephoto, the Samsung S22 Ultra is invincible.

Galaxy The S22 Ultra is still Samsung's current flagship, when it is now being talked about especially with regard to comparing its qualities with the newly introduced iPhones 14. It is true, however, that this is after all a very different device, which has a different display and sense of control through the S Pen. In its top model, Samsung is also still betting on a periscope telephoto lens with ten times zoom, against which Apple has not yet listed adequate competition. After all, this also applies to the entire product line Galaxy Z.
How can he, at such a distance, hold the camera without moving?! Impossible without a tripod
Artificial intelligence works wonders today, and I saw its quality with my Ultra.
It's a shame I can't post my photos here as a sample. I haven't tried the 100x zoom yet, but I have the moon at 30x and the sunrise at 60x, and those photos are, at least for me personally, breathtaking. And precisely for the reason that I photographed them on automatic and hand-held.
Send me an e-mail at adam.kos at the address below textfactory.cz and we figure out how to share your photos with the world.
The zoom is optical up to 10x, then software zoom. So at 100x zoom, the phone uses that view as a whole for stabilization (which you can see in the video in the upper right corner). So even if you then move your hand, the phone tries to keep what you want in the middle. Of course, it wouldn't be possible without it
Yes, that's exactly how it works.
