On Wednesday, September 7 Apple introduced the new iPhones 14 and in the past few days we brought you their phone comparison Galaxy S22. But when comparing prices, one wonders if it would really be worth paying such incredible money to have a phone with a bitten apple logo when others are offering the same, or even more, for less.

There are many factors that determine the price of goods, especially if they are sold in markets around the world. But exchange rates also play an important role. Unfortunately for us all currencies continue to weaken against the US dollar due to the current state of the world economy. While this is certainly not the only reason, it certainly has a major impact on the pricing of the new iPhone 14 in Europe, and they are, in a word, insane.

iPhones 14 pro in particular are almost 30% more expensive in Europe than in the United States. It seems Apple he just wants people to buy more like just now instead Galaxy Samsung's S22, i.e. phones that came out six months ago in the post-Covid era and for "normal" money. As it turned out in the comparison, they are not behind in terms of equipment.

iPhone 14 Pro is 30% more expensive in the EU

iPhone 14 Pro prices start at $999 in the United States. But you will most often pay EUR 1299 for the same phone on the old continent. At today's exchange rate, that's $1 because one dollar equals one euro, so it's almost 299% more. The same is true of the iPhone 30 Pro Max, which starts at $14 in the US. You will pay 1 euros for this device in Europe, which is of course equivalent to 099 dollars.

Czech prices are 33 CZK per iPhone 14 Pro and CZK 36 for iPhone 14 Pro Max in both cases in the basic 128GB memory variant. The Czech Republic is thus beaten even more because we do not have the euro. In net conversion, the prices at the time of writing the article should be approximately CZK 31 and CZK 894 respectively. Here, the prices of the iPhone 35 Pro and 577 Pro Max are approximately CZK 14 more expensive than in other European countries with the euro. Are you going to the US? Buy it iPhone, you do.

You also have to take into account the issue of tax and the fact that we have a two-year warranty by law, which is not the case in the USA. Even so, many would certainly be happy to give it up just to pay less. Even if the increase in price was caused by inflationary pressures, which all other companies more or less resist (Samsung raised the price of its jigsaws by only CZK 500), Apple he will do anything not to raise prices in his homeland and rather repeat himself elsewhere. His home market is crucial after all, which is only logical when customers all over the world are fighting him even for these exorbitant prices.

Apple however, it gives hesitant customers a great reason to ditch the iPhone 14 and buy instead Galaxy S22, and even in the Ultra variant, because it is the most direct competitor of the 14 Pro model. Or Galaxy From Flip4, as Samsung itself tries to push us in its advertisements. Galaxy The S22 Ultra can be purchased in the EU on Samsung's website for a price starting at 1 euros, in the 249GB version it will cost 128 CZK, i.e. practically what it cost iPhone 13 For Max than him Apple replaced with his overpriced novelty. So, are you really set on going for the new iPhone?
