As from our regular series about updates surely you know, Samsung started last week on the series phones Galaxy S22 in Europe to release September security patch. However, the company has now suspended the release of the update to the standard and "plus" models.

New software update with firmware version S90xBXXS2AVHD, which Samsung released on the models S22 a S22 +, was downloaded from Samsung servers. At the moment, it is not known why the Korean giant did this, but it was most likely because the update contained some bugs. After all, this has happened more than once in the past.

The September security patch fixes 24 vulnerabilities, none of which Samsung has rated as critical (21 as high risk and three as moderate risk). Samsung fixed, for example, vulnerabilities in the MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) driver, memory access errors in various functions, or problems with SystemUI service permissions. In addition, it also fixed a bug that allowed attackers to launch emergency calls remotely.

The new security patch was the first to arrive in the middle of last week Galaxy S21. Besides her and Galaxy S22 also "landed" on the line Galaxy Note20 and smartphones Galaxy S20 FE a Galaxy A52s 5G.
