As you probably know from our previous news, Samsung's next top flagship Galaxy The S23 Ultra will boast a 200MP camera, which, according to unofficial reports, will be based on an as-yet-unannounced ISOCELL HP2 sensor. Now more details about him have been leaked.

According to the now legendary leaker Ice universe it will have a new 200MPx "100%" 1/1.3" sensor, 0,6 micron pixel size and f/1.7 lens aperture. For Samsung's current 200MPx ISOCELL HP1 and HP3 sensors, the first two listed are different - the former has a size of 1/1.22" and a pixel size of 0,64μm, while the latter has 1/1.4" and 0,56μm. The new sensor will thus "sit" almost exactly in the middle.

Galaxy The S23 Ultra should inherit the camera design from the current model Incredibly and keep the 10MPx periscope telephoto lens that last year's Ultra was also equipped with. Otherwise, it should also have the same total design and use improved reader fingerprints. With probability bordering on certainty, it will be - just like the other models in the series Galaxy S23 – to power Qualcomm's next flagship chipset Snapdragon 8 Gen2. The series is expected to be released early next year.
