The International Design Excellence Awards 2022 (IDEA 2022) conference ended with a great success for Samsung. He took home a total of 42 prizes from it. More precisely, he won two gold, five silver and one bronze award and was awarded the title of finalist 34 times.
IDEA is a traditional design event organized by the Designers Society of America. This year, prizes were awarded in 20 categories, from home appliances to consumer electronics. IDEA honors companies whose products bring design innovation, benefit to users, benefit to society, etc. Needless to say, Samsung was one of the main candidates this year as well.

One of the gold awards that the Korean giant won at IDEA 2022 was the one awarded for industrial design. Specifically, it received his kitchen set Bespoke US Kitchen Package, consisting of a stove, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. An interesting feature is that the refrigerator (like other Samsung refrigerators from the Bespoke series) allows users to print their own photos on the door (via an online service launched in the spring). The second gold award went to the Bespoke Jet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner with All-in-one Clean Station for its intelligent design and the unique user experience it provides, from cleaning to storage.

As for the silver awards, one was awarded to a tablet Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra for its combination of high construction quality led by the durable Armor Aluminum frame, the integration of the S Pen stylus and the 14,6-inch AMOLED display, the second Upcycling at Home program, the third Cook Sensor, the fourth Samsung Air Hood and the last keyboard Samsung India Keyboard which now supports easier typing in 29 Indian dialects. Then the bronze prize went to the cases for the jigsaw puzzle Galaxy From Flip3, namely Silicone Cover with Strap and Silicone Cover with Ring.
