Although the default service for discovering new content is on smartphones and tablets Galaxy title Samsung Free, many people prefer Google Discover over it. However, it lacked one essential function, namely the ability to block videos from specific YouTube channels.

Google Discover primarily displays articles from the web that are most relevant to users. If the content from a certain page bothers you, you have the option to block articles from this source. Sometimes the service also shows videos from YouTube and YouTube Shorts. You can block those too, but only as an entire resource; if you wanted to stop showing videos from a specific channel, it was not possible. Fortunately, this is now changing.

Google has updated the service with the option "Don't show content from (channel) on YouTube" (Don't show content from a channel on YouTube), which does exactly what users of the service have asked for most, according to the American technology giant. If you don't like content from a certain YouTube channel, just select this option and you'll no longer see videos from that channel on the service. You still have the option to block YouTube videos as a whole. The new feature is available in the latest version of the Google app. If you don't see it on your device, try updating the app from trade Google Play.
