Samsung is now rolling out a new version of its Internet web browser app to users. This is not version 19 based on the beta, but a version that fixes a bug that prevented bookmarks from being displayed on some devices.

The new update pushes the Samsung Internet app to version 18.0.4.14. In addition to fixing the bookmarks problem experienced by some customers, the latest version of the Internet browser from the South Korean manufacturer also improves stability and, of course, brings the latest security patches.

Version 18.0.4.14 is a relatively minor update. If you haven't had problems with bookmarks, you probably won't even notice it, but otherwise it's a very welcome release. However, the list of its changes does not specify which devices Galaxy it had problems with bookmarks before this update, so it's good to install it also purely as a precaution - if you're actively using it, of course.

Meanwhile, the company is testing new Internet features in the 19.0 beta, including the long-awaited bookmark synchronization feature with Chrome. It is not yet known when this version could leave the beta stage and reach the public version of the application. These system-independent updates and One UI have a big advantage over Apple's solution in its iOS. In order for him to be able to update his own application, he must also release an update of the entire operating system. That's why even minor repairs take a disproportionately long time with him.
