The Samsung Group has its fingers in almost every area of ​​the market – from smartphones and TVs to white goods to medicine, heavy equipment and cargo ships. However, not everything Samsung does is related to modern technologies, so you certainly don't know that the Samsung Group also trains guide dogs for the visually impaired. The company runs the only guide dog training institution in South Korea that has been certified by the International Guide Dog Federation in Great Britain.

As reported by the magazine Korea Bizwire, so at the Samsung Guide Dog School in Yongin, which is located about 50 km south of Seoul, a ceremony was held this week for eight guide dogs who were handed over to their new visually impaired owners. These dogs have been trained for two years and passed rigorous tests. Each of them will now act as a friend and an extra pair of eyes for the visually impaired for the next seven years.

At the same time, the second part of the celebration took place at the school. It was about the removal of six guide dogs from their "active service" with visually impaired people, whom they had served for 8 years. Now they will just be real pets without any responsibility.
