Last week, Samsung released an updated version photo application Expert RAW, which brought the long-promised support for phones Galaxy Note20 Ultra, S20 Ultra and Z Fold2. However, it has now come to light that the latter application does not support a telephoto lens.

SamMobile website installed Expert RAW on Galaxy S20 Ultra and Note20 Ultra and found that the app on last year's "esque" Ultra doesn't work with the telephoto lens. At the same time, everything is fine with the second Ultra. It is not clear at the moment why this is the case when both phones share the same image processor. But it is offered that Galaxy The S20 Ultra has a higher resolution telephoto lens (48 vs. 12 MPx). On the other hand, if the application can process data from the phone's 108MPx main camera, it should certainly work with the 48MPx sensor as well.

Hopefully, Samsung will update the app to include a telephoto lens in the future Galaxy The S20 Ultra worked because there seems to be no reason (at least on a hardware level) not to. The app otherwise allows users to adjust sensitivity, shutter speed, white balance and autofocus, and also displays a histogram. The captured images can then be edited in the Adobe Lightroom application. She debuted on the phone last year Galaxy S21 Ultra.
