Press Release: At Designblok 22, Samsung Electronics presents a kinetic installation called Flex!, the authors of which are designer Petr Bakoš, audiovisual artists Jan Hladil and Lukáš Dřevjaný from Studio H40 and a team of programmers from the Prague prototype workshop PrusaLab. The visual experience at the edge of current technologies will remind you of innovations in the development of mobile phones, whose new folding mechanism with a flexible display Samsung recently transferred from the realm of science fiction to our pockets.
Samsung Electronics' exhibit at this year's Designblok has a motto The world is Flex! and the company invited designer Petr Bakoš to create the concept. Among other things, the exhibition will attract the attention of the unique installation Flex!, designed especially for this occasion, which includes three collaborative robots dancing with a flexible projection surface. A related projection of several minutes by the authors Jan Hladil and Lukáš Dřevjané will follow the interactive exhibition of the new folding phones with a flexible display, which Samsung introduced to the world market some time ago.

"The basic idea of our story is that successful technological innovations lead to naturalness and to design solutions whose principles we can observe in living nature - and this includes the principle of flexibility. This trend is also followed by the development of mobile phones," says Petr Bakoš, whose robotic installation concept Flex! developed together with the team of programmer Leoš Hort from the PrusaLab workshop in Prague.
Exposure The world is Flex! therefore, in addition to the kinetic work itself, it will provide visitors with space to try out the new series of foldable phones with Samsung's flexible display Galaxy From Flip4 and Samsung Galaxy From Fold4 and the accessory ecosystem. Visitors will be able to test the unique functions that their flexible design enables, mainly in cooperation with popular applications from Google.
