The second puzzle that Samsung introduced this summer also arrived at our editorial office. This is the more equipped model, which is, of course, also more expensive. However, thanks to its construction, it is not just a phone, but combines the best of the world of Samsung smartphones and tablets.

Its physical dimensions do not matter so far, i.e. mainly the thickness. It is true, however, that we are only slowly getting used to its external display. It is definitely good that Samsung adjusted its proportions compared to the previous version, but the fact is that it is still more or less atypical. It's nice to work with, yes, but it's not what you're used to from regular smartphones. The situation is completely different with the flexible internal display, which is absolutely great to work with. Of course, the goodies of One UI 4.1.1 are also to blame.

What clearly bothers me is the relatively strong rocking of the device on a flat table surface. Even if it doesn't look like it, the camera outputs are quite large. It is practically impossible to work in the closed state, but it is no miracle in the open state either. Hopefully we'll excuse it when we see the first results from the cameras. Since Samsung used the z assembly here Galaxy S22, it should Galaxy Deliver great results from Fold4.

A little more about the internal display. The groove in its center is noticeably more distracting here than it is on the Z Flip4. It's bigger of course and because it's vertical it means you can always see it because, simply put, all the content is displayed in the center of the device. The selfie camera under the display is paradoxically more visible when the display is dark. When you are on the web, for example, you can easily overlook it through the pixels of the display. More in the next article.
