Last year, Fossil launched the Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch, which was powered by the Snapdragon 4100+ chip and software-wise ran on Wear OS 2. Now he introduced the new Fossil Gen 6 Wellness Edition watch, which uses the same chip, but which is his first model with a modern system Wear OS 3 (the same was used by many before the recent upgrade to version 3.5 Galaxy Watch4).

Díky Wear The OS 3 Fossil Gen 6 Wellness Edition watch supports applications such as YouTube Music, Spotify or Facer. The voice assistant here is not Google Assistant, but Alexa.

Another advantage of the watch is the new Wellness application, which brings health and fitness functions to it, including measuring blood oxygen saturation, heart rate zones and VO2 Max (measures overall physical condition) and automatic exercise detection. The watch also received improved sleep tracking and continuous heart rate monitoring outside of exercise.

The Fossil 6 Wellness Edition also features a 1,28-inch OLED display with support for Always-on mode, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. They will be available in a size of 44 mm and three colors (black, silver and rose gold) and will go on sale - through the manufacturer's official website - from October 17, at a price of $299 (roughly CZK 7).
