In the database of the popular benchmark Geekbench 5, the first result of the basic model of the next flagship series of Samsung appeared Galaxy S23. The phone is labeled SM-S911U, which is supposed to be its US version, and was apparently tested with Qualcomm's next flagship chip Snapdragon 8 Gen2.

Galaxy The S23 scored 1524 points in the single-core test, and 4597 points in the multi-core test. For comparison: Galaxy S22 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, it reached around 1200, or 3200 points, while devices with the current Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship chip usually score around 1300 or 4200 points.

The test also shows that Galaxy The S23 will have 8 GB of RAM (so the same as Galaxy S22) that it will unsurprisingly be powered by software Android 13 and that graphics operations will be handled by the Adreno 740 chip (the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and 8+ Gen 1 chips use the Adreno 730).

According to the leaks so far, he will have Galaxy S23 slightly higher capacity battery than the predecessor and (like other models in the series) practically the same dimensions even the same display size. The series is expected to be launched in January or February next year.
