Not long ago, we wondered why Samsung didn't extend the One UI 5.0 beta program to its new foldable smartphones Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4. The Korean giant seems to have heard us, as they have just announced that the beta program is now finally available for them in several countries.

The One UI 5.0 beta program for the fourth Fold and Flip has been made available specifically in South Korea and the UK. It could soon expand to other selected markets such as the US or Germany. Recall that in the past days the beta program he opened for last year's "benders" Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 and also a series Galaxy Footnote20.

The One UI 5.0 extension brings a number of improvements and changes, including more customization options for the lock screen (following the popular LockStar Good Lock module), an expanded color palette, better customization options for allowing notifications and a new look for the notification bar, a slightly changed design of the quick toggles area, smoother animations, layered widgets or call background effects for individual contacts. Privacy features and all native Samsung apps have also been improved. The public (more precisely, owners of phones of the Galaxy S22), will see it (in selected markets) later this month.
