So that you don't run out of data sooner than you think, it's useful to know how to check your data usage on Samsung, whether it's a phone or a tablet. Thanks to millions of applications in Google Play, thanks to streaming and cloud services, thanks to the available Internet, it is easy to exceed the amount of mobile data that your operator provides you as part of the tariff.

One UI's default data tracking feature can help you avoid slower speeds when you're over the limit, and of course, big upgrade bills. You can also set a data limit for your monthly cycle and activate data saver mode to reduce data usage in the background.

How to Check Data Usage on Samsung

  • Go to Settings.
  • choose Access available.
  • Choose an offer Use of data.
  • Here you can already see reports for Wi-Fi data usage or mobile data usage.

When you click on the given item, you will also find out which applications have the highest demands on data. For mobile data, you will also find the Data Saver menu here, which you can specify even more closely when you turn it on. This includes the possibility of allowed or excluded applications to which the limit applies. Ultra Data Saver then compresses images, videos and received data to keep them as small as possible. The feature also blocks data that apps running in the background want to use.
