This February was really busy. Samsung showed us a trio of new phones and a trio of new tablets, with the devices bearing the Ultra moniker clearly standing out from both model lines. We have now received i Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and it's a real monster. At the same time, but also the king of tablets with Androidem.
Samsung simply wanted to escape the competition and introduce something that is not yet on the market. Right after the first acquaintance with Galaxy You will clearly recognize the Tab S8 that it has succeeded. The device is huge and the cutout in the display for a pair of cameras is unusual (it is a wide-angle and an ultra-wide-angle camera, both of which have 12 MPx). Otherwise, at first glance, it's actually a classic "ace eight", only slightly overgrown.

It contains a 14,6" display, which is 37 cm diagonally, the resolution is 2960 x 1848, and even if the ppi is only 240, it certainly does not matter, because you hold the tablet a little further from your body than, for example, a mobile phone. The fingerprint reader is directly in the display. But the weight also increases with the size, so it must be taken into account that the 726 g will be noticeable, not only when traveling, but also during normal use.

The consumption of audiovisual content is also underlined by quad stereo speakers with sound from the AKG workshop, which the manufacturer also boasts on the body of the device and Dolby Atmos. You will also find an S Pen right in the package, so that you can use all the advantages of the tablet immediately after unpacking it, not like with Apple, where you have to Apple Pencil can be bought for a few thousand more. But you have to buy the keyboard, when the one with touchpad is also available here. In any case, we also have it with the tablet for testing, and yes, it is backlit.

It's an impressive device, just to look at it. But what detracts from its luxury are the ubiquitous fingerprints. But it is already clear that in terms of paper values it is the king Android of tablets, which in some respects even surpasses the iPad Pro. Let's also add that the rear camera is 13MPx with automatic focus and is followed by a 6MPx ultra-wide-angle camera with flash. The recommended price starts from CZK 29 for the 990GB Wi-Fi version.
Is this review a joke? Xiaomi 5 Pad is better in everything, cheaper. And yet it is a year old.
