It has been speculated for some time that the Chinese company Oppo is working on a successor to its first bendable phone, the Find N. According to a new leak, the device, which is said to be called the Oppo Find N2, will boast a significantly lower weight than other "benders".

According to the now legendary leaker Ice universe, the Oppo Find N2 will weigh just under 240g, which would be 15% less than what the Oppo Find N weighed. It would also be noticeably lighter than competitors such as Galaxy From Fold4 (it weighs 263 g), Huawei Mate X2 (295 g), Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 (262 g) or Vivo X Fold+ (311 g). In fact, it would be the lightest horizontally foldable smartphone ever. In addition, Ice universe hinted that Oppo could use new materials in its new puzzle.

Otherwise, according to older leaks, the Oppo Find N2 will get a chipset Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 and a triple camera with a resolution of 50, 48 and 32 MPx (the second should be a "wide-angle" and the third a telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom). At the moment it is not clear if the phone will be available in international markets (Oppo Find N has not looked outside the borders of China).
