S Androidem 13, Google started working on a feature called Predictive Back Gesture, which provides a preview of the target or other result of a back gesture before it is fully completed. Now Google has revealed that the predictive back gesture will be a default feature in the next one Androidua will also work within applications.

Returning to the previous screen using the back gesture is a great "trick" Androidu. All you have to do is slide your finger across the screen. However, this can often accidentally "kick" you out of the app. Having a preview of the previous screen before performing the back gesture could be quite useful here, and that's exactly what the predictive back gesture brings. This feature will arrive on smartphones and tablets Galaxy only in Androidu 14 built by the One UI 6.0 superstructure.

When in the next Androidu perform a back gesture from the left or right edge of the display, the page of the app you are viewing will shrink to reveal the page that appears when the gesture is completed. This prevents users from accidentally exiting the application in the middle of a task. Users can try this feature already in Androidat 13 for apps like Google TV and Phone.

If you also want to test it, you need to activate it in developer mode first. To do this: go to Settings→About Phone→Informace about the software and then tap Build Number seven times. This has enabled the developer options menu, which now appears in Settings (at the very bottom). Now find the Predictive Gesture Animation switch back in it and turn it on.
