There have long been rumors that Google is working on a flexible phone, likely to be called the Pixel Fold. However, we knew very little about him until now. That has finally changed now – its first renders have leaked into the air, along with a possible launch date, price and some of its specs.

According to the website Front Page Tech the Pixel Fold will be launched in May next year, together with the Pixel Tablet. The state is said to be $1 (about CZK 799), which means that it could be a competitor of the series Galaxy From the Fold.

The website adds that Google has not yet decided what the device will "finally" be called, but that it is referring to it internally as the Pixel Fold. More importantly, the device has a similar form factor to the released renders Galaxy Z Fold4 and has a large external display with a circular cut-out and a large flexible display with a relatively thick top and bottom frame. Samsung will reportedly supply both displays for the phone.

On the back, we see a protruding photo module that looks similar to the u Pixel 7 Pro, however, camera specifications are unknown at this time. However, the selfie camera located in the cutout of the external display should have a resolution of 9,5 MPx, as well as the one embedded in the upper frame of the flexible screen. Furthermore, the renders show that the fingerprint reader will be integrated into the power button and that the phone will be available in at least two colors – white and black.
