If you want to make someone happy under the tree with a new strap for his Galaxy Watch, you will decide what size to buy. Of course, its length depends on the diameter of the person's wrist, which we won't be able to help you with much, but as far as the width is concerned, the choice is not difficult at all.

There are still a few days left until Christmas, and if you are struggling with what to give someone, then if the person in question uses Galaxy Watch, you have a clear tip here, you just need to find out their type. Fortunately, Samsung hasn't yet gone the Apple route with its Apple Watch or Google with its Pixel Watch and their proprietary straps, and uses standard legs with standard pitches. So you can buy straps directly from Samsung, but it's not necessary, because any other ones you get from a regular watchmaker will also fit. Those from Samsung have a clear advantage in that they fit right up to the case. As for the length, you probably won't detect the circumference of the wrist unobtrusively. Take into account that a woman's hand is more like around 17 cm, a normal man's around 18 cm, a stronger man's hand over 19 cm.

How wide a strap for what watch

This is mainly due to the fact that Samsung uses so-called speed risers in its straps. These have a pin that you pull and the strap comes loose. So try to look for the same solution, because otherwise you will need a lot of skill or a specialized tool to put on a new belt. It is therefore important to know which widths are used by which watch models, which is actually very simple in the end. On all models Galaxy Watch4 and later it is 20 mm.

  • Galaxy Watch4 Classic 46 mm – belt width: 20 mm
  • Galaxy Watch4 Classic 42 mm – belt width: 20 mm
  • Galaxy Watch4 44 mm – belt width: 20 mm
  • Galaxy Watch4 40 mm – belt width: 20 mm
  • Galaxy Watch5 Pro (45mm) – belt width: 20 mm
  • Galaxy Watch5 44 mm – belt width: 20 mm
  • Galaxy Watch5 40 mm – belt width: 20 mm
