Recently, Google has been making significant efforts to improve support for devices with large screens, such as flexible phones and tablets. To that end, it's updating a number of its Workspace apps to add drag and drop support and full mouse support. It could also be because it is about to release its new Pixel tablet.

In his blog for the Workspace suite of apps, Google announced that the Slides app now supports the ability to drag and drop text and images from it to other apps on Androidu. Disk also received improvements in this direction, which now allows you to drag and drop files within it in both single- and dual-window mode. Previously, the application allowed users to drag and drop files and directories to upload them to disk.

Finally, Documents now also fully supports the computer mouse. This means that it is possible to select text using a left-click-and-drag gesture. All of these features introduced for the aforementioned Google Workspace apps indicate that the software giant is preparing its titles for its upcoming big-screen devices. These are the Pixel Tablet and the foldable smartphone Pixel Fold. The first mentioned device will be launched sometime next year, and Google will reportedly introduce the second in May 2023.
