Samsung's OLED panels can be found not only in its top smartphones, but also in the flagships of almost all other brands. The "flagships" of almost all smartphone manufacturers are likely to use the Korean giant's new, higher-brightness OLED panel next year.

As you may remember, Vivo introduced a new generation smartphone a few days ago X90 Pro +. It uses Samsung's E6 OLED panel with QHD+ resolution, peak brightness of 1800 nits, variable refresh rate with a maximum of 120 Hz and support for the Dolby Vision standard. Other phones that should use this panel are Xiaomi Mi 13 and Mi 13 Pro and iQOO 11. They should be presented later this year, in early December to be precise.

It's worth noting that Samsung's new panel can drive two distinct segments of the screen at different refresh rates. For example, you can run a YouTube video at 60Hz in one segment and view its comments in another segment at 120Hz. This can further improve the fluidity of the user interface while saving battery.

Samsung is also known to use this panel in the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, where its maximum brightness is 2300 nits. Your phone will most likely have it too Galaxy S23Ultra, where its brightness should reach at least 2200 nits. In contrast, the Korean giant's rivals, LG Display and BOE, cannot yet match the performance of its OLED panels.
