Until the introduction of Samsung's next flagship series Galaxy Apparently, S23 is a little over two months away. From various recent leaks, we already know about it, for example, what the individual models will look like, or what chipset should drive them. Now the top model of the series – the S23 Ultra – has received FCC certification.

Galaxy The S23 Ultra received FCC certification just days after it received models S23 and S23+, or rather their batteries. The phone is listed in the certification documents under the model number A3LSMS918B. This appears to be its international variant and seems to be missing two important upgrades. According to the documents, the next Ultra uses only 25W charging (EP-TA800) and only "knows" Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax).

These informace however, it should be taken with a grain of salt, as Samsung tests its phones with a 25W charger, even though they support higher charging power. Just remember the FCC certification in the case of current flagship models Galaxy S22 + a S22Ultra, which listed them with a 25W EP-TA800 charger, even though they support 45W charging. As for what Wi-Fi standard the S23 Ultra will support, all available leaks suggest that it will be the new Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) standard, not the aforementioned Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax).

The phone's battery is also listed in the certification documents under the model number EB-BS918ABY. Its capacity has not been revealed, but according to older and newer leaks, it will be the same as the current Ultra, i.e. 5000 mAh. In addition, the certification revealed that the smartphone is compatible with the S Pen stylus (EJ-PS918), which uses technology from Wacom.

Galaxy In addition, the S23 Ultra should have an improved reader fingerprints, an improved front camera with optical image stabilization or more durable protection of the display glass and camera lenses. The biggest improvement, however, will be the 200MPx camera, which should be able to capture truly breathtaking images. Like other models in the series, the phone should use faster chipset variant Snapdragon 8 Gen2.
