Samsung has released a new update for the photo editor built into its native Gallery app, and in addition, it has also updated the Object Eraser feature. Introduced to smartphone users last January, this feature Galaxy provides quick tools for removing photobombers and unwanted objects from their shots.
Updates to the Gallery and Photo Editor components do not come with a changelog. They are updated continuously and Samsung has not specified what might be new or might change. However, the photo editor has been updated to version 3.1.09.41 and its component Smart Photo Editor Engine to version 1.1.00.3.
In addition, Samsung has updated the Object Eraser feature and its two components i.e. Shadow Eraser and Reflection Eraser. These components have been upgraded to version 1.1.00.3. Object Eraser was solid at launch, offering an alternative to Photoshop's tools. According to various comparisons, the feature can keep up with the globally popular photo editing app. It should be even better now.
That being said, there are no changelogs available, but it's likely that for the Object Eraser feature, Samsung has worked on improving its AI system. This should ultimately mean that the tool now works more accurately.
So I didn't notice that anything would improve. It keeps erasing things terribly. The place after which the object disappears is incredibly blurry. So an update on nothing. Not Samsung
The worst decision of my life was buying a Samsung. I had a Realme. Not only were the photos much better, but editing them wasn't such a terrible experience. It was great (slimming the face, enlarging the eyes, erasing the circles under the eyes, removing blemishes, etc.). At least my Samsung doesn't have this. And I'm not talking about other things that are missing from Samsung, but that the cheaper models of the competition have. You still have a lot to learn
