Samsung recently completed the installation of an upgraded display solution in the Swiss Life Arena, making it the most modern hockey arena in Switzerlandcarsku. This solution modernizes the space by providing redesigned hardware and software as well as technical support for the ZSC Lions team and includes the largest indoor LED cube in Europe. These upgrades allowed the arena to meet NHL standards, a level typically only achieved by North American arenas.

Samsung installed 669 m² of LED signage displays inside, which includes a total of over 18 million LEDs. From players on the sidelines to fans in the stands, Samsung's live display technology allows everyone in the hall to immerse themselves in the action with excellent sharpness and consistent color rendering. Advanced LED technology provides realistic image quality by optimizing brightness levels and eliminating glare and visual inconsistencies.

The main element of the light installation is an LED cube that measures 8 x 12 x 12 m and covers 416 m² of LED signage displays. No matter where fans sit in the arena, they will be able to enjoy a stunning video display. The cube has superior picture quality and vivid colors and sets the mood with ambient light and sound.

To create a seamless and dynamic experience for guests, Samsung's displays include various light boards – long and thin LED screens mounted on the front of the balconies – and sound equipment. With optimal backboard visibility and low-reflection technology, fans are sure to never miss any of the action on or off the ice, even in ever-changing lighting conditions.

By delivering a complete display solution, Samsung has helped to enhance the spectator experience in the hall, accompanying spectators from the moment they arrive until they leave. Thanks to it, fans can explore the hall while staying informed about the latest happenings on the ice.

To ensure that its technology is incorporated into every corner of the arena concourse, Samsung has installed 240 strategically placed screens throughout the stadium. In the sports bar and around the concourse, the crystal clear image quality of its smart signage displays, including the Q series, can be seen. In the auditorium, guests will be mesmerized by The Wall's giant screen for a change. In addition, Samsung has installed its business line monitors in selected offices of the ZSC Lions Club.

Samsung has been the biggest player in this field of displays for 13 consecutive years. Before that, he installed his signage screens at, among others, the American baseball stadium Citi Field or the American football stadium Sofi Stadium.
