Times change and so do we. As online payments became more convenient and accessible, our visits to brick-and-mortar stores also decreased. Many prefer to order two sizes of clothing and return one for free rather than bother visiting a store and trying them on. Visa is also moving with the times, which has started to support the Click to Pay service, which makes paying on the Internet even easier.

Click to Pay it has the advantage of not being complicated. In practice, it's just a matter of registering (signing in) your payment card on the Visa website and connecting it with your email, phone number and setting up trust for your device. If you have access to it subject to some security, no one else can access the payments. Then you don't have to write down (or even remember) the card number or validity, just the CVV/CVC code on the back.

So the logic of the matter is that you then pay with your registered card across the Internet where the service is supported. It's not everywhere yet, because like any new thing, it has to spread first. However, due to the strong name, this will not be the slightest problem. After logging in, it only takes a few clicks to pay online, wherever you see the Click to Pay symbol that looks like an arrow pointing to the right (it is a pentagon lying on its side with two arrows on the right side). It does not matter if you are logged in to the e-shop, because the service works even if you are only a guest.

Easy, fast, safe

Why easily, is therefore evident from the above. Fast means that when your device is trusted and you choose "Stay signed in" on it, you don't need to sign in with your password next time, saving you time. Because you can rely on Visa's multi-step security procedure, your card is protected from unauthorized use, which is why the safely.

For hesitant shooters, let it be a clear safety feature that after choosing Click to Pay payment, you are prompted for authorization by writing down a code that will be sent to you as an SMS to your specified phone number. After entering it, you are asked to enter CVV/CVC, which you simply have to remember (they are three numbers, so it shouldn't be a problem), and then you are redirected to your bank's application, where you confirm the payment. It may seem like too many steps, but that's exactly where the maximum security is buried. Besides, it's really just a moment.

In case of short-term inactivity or when the browser window is closed, you will be automatically logged out of the visit. You must visit the site again to continue, so no one but you will make the payment. The money will then come to the subject immediately.

Precisely for the reason that your card within Click to Pay with Visa connects to an e-mail and phone number, is practically everywhere with you, wherever you are, where you can pay with the service. It doesn't matter where your card is physically. The advantage is clear, whether you pay for anything in a train, club, restaurant, shop or anywhere else, and you have a card in your wallet in a dresser on the porch, all you need is a trusted device, i.e. a phone or even a laptop.

Once you go through the payment process after signing up, you will realize that it saves you time and you don't have to worry about the security of such a payment. Sure, you have to remember CVV/CVC, but that's about it. As soon as more and more e-shops and stores accept the service, you won't have to worry about which wallet and which drawer of which dresser you left your debit, credit and prepaid card with which the service works.
