In the popular benchmark Geekbench, the long-awaited first folding smartphone of Google Pixel Fold has probably "emerged". His database lists him under the codename Google Felix, with which he has been associated in the past. Among other things, the benchmark revealed that the device will run on the Tensor G2 chip that made its debut in the series Pixel 7.

Geekbench also revealed that the Pixel Fold will have 12 GB of RAM and that it will be powered by software Android 13. It scored 1047 points in the single-core test and 3257 points in the multi-core test, which is a completely comparable score to the Pixel 7 Pro model (it scored 1048 and 3139 points, respectively).

The Pixel Fold is also expected to have an 8-inch internal flexible display and a 6,19-inch external display, both with a 120Hz refresh rate, compared to the models in the series Galaxy The Z Fold has a significantly thinner joint, a steel frame, a triple camera, which could have the same configuration as the mentioned Pixel 7 Pro (i.e. a 50MPx primary sensor, a 48MPx telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and a 12MPx "wide-angle") and two 9,5MPx selfie cameras. It will reportedly be launched in May next year and its price is estimated at $1 (about CZK 800). Although "on paper" the device doesn't look bad at all, it probably won't be big for the fourth Fold by market competition.
