Samsung quietly introduced a new budget smartphone Galaxy M04. It is the successor of last year's phone Galaxy M02, from which, however, it is not very different.

Galaxy The M04 got a 6,5-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and a standard refresh rate of 60 Hz. It is powered by the older but proven lower-end Helio P35 chipset, which is paired with 4GB of RAM (up to 8GB with RAM Plus) and 64 or 128GB of expandable internal storage.

The camera is dual with a resolution of 13 and 2 MPx, with the second serving as a macro camera. The front camera has a resolution of 5 MPx. The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh and supports fast charging with a power of 15 W. In terms of software, the phone is built on Androidat 12. It follows from the foregoing that Galaxy The M04 differs from its predecessor only in its faster chipset, higher operating and internal memory capacity, and fast charging support. Actually, one more thing – the presence of a USB-C port, because Galaxy The M02 was charged via an outdated microUSB connector

Galaxy The M04 will be available in green, gold and blue and will go on sale from December 16th. Its price will start at 8 rupees (roughly 499 CZK). Outside of India, Samsung will most likely not look at the market it is targeting.
