The 14,6" display is truly extreme. It's bigger than most laptops, it's even better quality. It has a resolution of 2960 x 1848 pixels at 240 ppi, the technology is Super AMOLED and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. In the aforementioned review, we name Galaxy The Tab S8 is the king of tablets, and it must be underlined now. Equipment is one thing, but how to work with the equipment is another. Even though the thickness is only 5,5 mm, the dimensions of 208,6 x 326,4 mm are simply too much. The same can be said about the weight, which is 726 g.

Yes, it will have its customers singing its praises, and quite rightly so. But you have to be a professional to have a use for such a large tablet. It's not for work where you hold it in one hand and tap the display with the other (or use the S Pen). You will either have it placed on the table, on your thighs, propped up against your legs, or you will also purchase an accessory in the form of a cover with a keyboard, otherwise you will not be completely satisfied. This is also due to the wobble due to the protruding cameras, which are the same as in the models Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S8+ (13MPx wide-angle and 6MPx ultra-wide-angle). Next to them is a charging pad for the S Pen.

If the rear cameras are the same, we will already find a change in the front (respectively front). The 12MPx ultra-wide-angle is supplemented by a 12MPx wide-angle. This duo is located on the longer upper side of the tablet, and because of it, Samsung had to resort to a more "Apple" solution, i.e. a cutout. But it's really small, and the display is really big, so it's not intrusive at all. This is also due to the fact that the frame is only 6,3 mm thick, which means the best possible ratio of the display to the body of the device (90%).

It is obvious that the front cameras will be used especially by those who are still addicted to video calls, and rather work ones. So there is Auto Framing, which constantly focuses on the user and, in addition, zooms so that any other participants appear in the shot. So that you can be heard well, there are three microphones with ambient noise reduction technology. And for sound playback, four speakers with Dolby Atmos technology are used, although the equipment here is already equal to that of the Ultra's siblings.
The larger body also carries a larger battery, which is 11 mAh and logically, it also includes Samsung's Super Fast Charging with a power of up to 200 W. Even if you give the tablet a good pounding, you won't drain it in a day. Compared to the basic model, there is a fingerprint reader in the display, which the Plus model also has.

Quality costs something
Along with the Tab S8 Ultra model, Samsung also introduced a protective cover with a keyboard and touchpad, which we strongly recommend purchasing for the tablet for easier handling. The keyboard is backlit, allows you to create keyboard shortcuts, and the tablet can be set at different angles with it, but don't expect a Czech keyboard layout. The keyboard cover is made of luxurious antibacterial polyurethane artificial leather and includes a glass-covered touchpad. If you need, you can also connect the keyboard to the phone Galaxy.

Of course, it also costs something, and not a little. The tablet itself has an official price of 30, but it can be found for under 28 CZK. The cover with the keyboard will cost over 6 thousand, so for the whole set you will pay up to 36 thousand CZK. When you consider that such an M2 MacBook Air costs CZK 38, the question is whether it is better not to choose a full-fledged desktop system (even if Windows laptops) than "only" Android tablets. But it's about the point of view and needs of each user.
Galaxy The Tab S8 Ultra is a high-end tablet. It is even the best in the world Androidu can get it, it's just a little too much. The review is subjective because it also depends on the reviewer's opinion, and mine is that I always prefer to go for the basic Galaxy Tab S8 because it offers an ideal price/performance/size ratio. After all, I have a computer, both desktop and laptop, for any more demanding work, so the Ultra is simply too much for my needs.

In June, there was an event where the Tab S8 Ultra with a trade-in bonus could be purchased for 20 even in the 5G variant. That's when I made a mistake and only selected the S8+ for 17.5. In the end, the Ultra would suit me better, but I was afraid of the dimensions.
