Samsung Internet is the only known web browser for the system Wear OS. However, it mysteriously disappeared from the Google Play store last week, leaving people unable to install it on their smartwatches. Fortunately, he is now back. But why did Samsung remove it in the first place?

We'll have to speculate a bit, as Samsung hasn't given reasons for doing so. Did he delete his browser because he was preparing a new version? Apparently not, as the app that is back on the Google Play Store is no different from the one that was removed. Maybe he just "just" deleted it by mistake.

With the introduction of the series Galaxy Watch4 Samsung ditched its Tizen operating system in favor of the system Wear OS. Shortly after, he released his browser for it. Due to the lack of other browsers for Wear OS like Google Chrome, Samsung Internet was the only known browser on this platform.

Initially, Samsung's browser was only available for its smart watches, later the Korean giant made it available for watches with Wear OS from other brands. While not nearly as feature-packed as the smartphone or tablet version, at least it lets you browse the web less than an arm's length away.
