Samsung has had quite an interesting year. In it, he presented a real number of new products, which in many ways surpassed their predecessors and attracted the right number of users. On the other hand, there are still a few things that I didn't quite like, when the Exynos 2200 and the case of performance slowdown are clearly ruling everything.

The GOS case

Samsung has been bragging about how great its Exynos 2200 is, but it's kind of a line Galaxy The S22 didn't optimize as much as its customers would have liked. But because he knew it well enough, he tamed the performance of the chip so that it would not overheat. Well, the benchmark tests blew it, and since Samsung didn't report it, it had a coat of shame. Then he quickly sewed updates that gave users the opportunity to decide whether they want to throttle the performance further, or whether they prefer to squeeze the maximum out of the chip. However, a certain bitter aftertaste of this behavior remains until now and we really hope that it will not happen again with the future generation. We also hope that Samsung will ditch its Exynos in it for the time being, because hope dies last.

Higher prices

When Samsung introduced Galaxy S22 Ultra, put a price tag on it at CZK 31, i.e. such that it was equal to the current best Apple device at the time, namely the iPhone 990 Pro Max. Then, when new jigsaw puzzles were to come on the market, they penetrated the public informace about how they will be cheaper than last year's versions. In the end, they also became more expensive. On the other hand, in contrast, Samsung gives its customers many bonuses, such as free headphones and cashback events when returning an old device. It's great because you can save a lot on it, but with sales and competition in mind, the question is, why doesn't he cough up promotions and sell the device cheaper? Maybe like that Apple he ignores this completely and his only discount all year is a lousy Black Friday credit towards your next purchase. Samsung is more accommodating in this regard, but it certainly doesn't have it completely figured out. At the same time, if he reduced the price by just a few thousand, it would be a great move in the eyes of customers. And we are still afraid that it will become more expensive even during 2023, so who knows where the price will end up Galaxy He climbs out of Fold5.

Galaxy Watch5 Pro

It was kind of expected that Samsung wouldn't show off the line this year Galaxy Watch Classic and will introduce some professional model instead. Nothing against it, but the fact that it's a Pro model is just stupid. For many years, the company has carried the label Ultra, which would be offered directly, while the nickname Pro mainly refers to its professional products Apple. So it happened to us. We have here Galaxy Watch5 Pro that Samsung introduced a month before Apple introduced to the scene Apple Watch Ultra. Well, and then it's not to be confused with the poor customers.

Attack ads against Apple

It's kind of Samsung's thing to go after its biggest rival as much as it can. He usually looks neither to the right nor to the left. This year, he launched a campaign to support his jigsaw puzzles for iPhone users. At first glance it may look funny, but at the second we wonder if this is what the biggest smartphone seller in the world needs. He was worried about Apple even before the presentation of the iPhone 14, then of course he dug into them again, because the American company still did not come up with its flexible solution. And that's a good thing for Samsung, because it's the one that reigns supreme in the foldable/flexible phone segment.
