At this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Samsung unveiled several new products, both commercial and concept. The most interesting thing is certainly the hybrid sliding and folding OLED display, which will put you on your ass.

As you can see in the video in the tweet below, this hybrid display, which Samsung calls the Flex Hybrid, has a foldable display similar to what you can see on the series Galaxy The Z Fold also allows you to slide out the side screen, which is accessible even when the internal display is closed. As expected, this is of course more of a concept than something we'd see on the market anytime soon. However, when it comes to the cool factor, the device gets full marks.

For those of you wondering in what real-world situation a device with such a hybrid display would actually be useful, an easy example is the YouTube app: you can use the main screen to watch a video and the sliding screen to scroll through a list of recommended videos, for example. It's a nice example of technology, but it's clear that its use is still small at the moment.
