As you probably know from our previous news, Samsung will introduce several new models of the series this year Galaxy A. One of them is the successor to last year's very successful mid-range model Galaxy A53 5G. Here's everything we know about Samsung Galaxy A54 5G.
Design
From the renders leaked so far Galaxy A54 5G means that the phone will be difficult to distinguish from its predecessor from the front. Apparently, it will have a flat display with relatively thick frames and a circular cutout. The display should have a size of 6,4 inches (so it should be 0,1 inches smaller compared to last year), the resolution will be FHD+ (1080 x 2400 px) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

As for the back side, here we can see some noticeable differences. The smartphone should have one less camera (with a probability bordering on certainty it will lose the depth sensor) and each of the three cameras should have a separate cut-out. This design should be common to all the phones that Samsung is planning this year. Galaxy The A54 5G is otherwise said to be available in black, white, lime and purple.

Chipset and battery
Galaxy The A54 5G should be powered by Samsung's new Exynos 1380 chipset. It will reportedly have four high-performance processor cores clocked at 2,4 GHz and four economical cores with a frequency of 2 GHz. The battery should have the same capacity as last year, i.e. 5000 mAh (so it should last for two days on one charge), and support 25W fast charging again.

Galaxy A54 5G should be equipped - as already mentioned - with a triple camera with a resolution of 50, 12 and 5 MPx, while the main one should have optical image stabilization, the second one will act as an ultra-wide-angle lens and the third one will serve as a macro camera. Opposite Galaxy The A53 5G would be a certain downgrade, as its main sensor has a resolution of 64 MPx. The front camera will apparently have the same resolution as last year, i.e. 32 MPx. Both the rear and front cameras are expected to be capable of shooting 4K videos at 30 fps.
When and for how much?
Samsung usually introduces series phones Galaxy And in March. AT Galaxy A54 5G (and its siblings Galaxy A34 5G), however, this time it should be much earlier, specifically on January 18. How much it will cost is unclear at this time, but given that vs Galaxy The A53 5G is supposed to bring only minimal improvements, we can expect its price tag to be the same, i.e. 449 euros (roughly CZK 10).
