The success of a given phone is determined not only by its specifications and appearance, but also by how much it costs. Samsung Galaxy The price of the S23 is not yet officially known, but there are certain indications from which we can draw different conclusions. So here we will try to figure out how much the individual models of the new flagship series of the South Korean company could cost.
First of all, it is useful to state how much last year's models actually cost, i.e. the series Galaxy S22. However, here we will not deal with benefits, i.e. bonuses for pre-orders or cashback in the case of buying an old device. When it was the turn of February 9 last year Galaxy S22 officially announced, the prices were as follows:
- Galaxy S22: The suggested retail price was CZK 21 for the 990GB RAM/8GB internal memory version and CZK 128 for the 22GB RAM/990GB internal memory version.
- Galaxy S22 +: Recommended retail price was CZK 26 for the 999GB RAM/8GB internal variant memory and CZK 27 for the version with 999 GB RAM/8 GB memory.
- Galaxy S22Ultra: Recommended retail price was CZK 31 for the 990GB RAM/8GB internal memory version, CZK 128 for the 34GB RAM/490GB internal memory version and CZK 12 for the 256GB RAM/36GB internal memory variant.
It will depend on the memory
According to leaker Ahmed Qwaider will be Galaxy S23 to Galaxy The S23+ is available in 8+256GB and 8+512GB memory configurations, with the former being the base. He added, however, that the phones will also be offered with 128GB of storage, but only in "very few countries", according to him. Since we are not a specific market, it can be guessed that the 128GB version will not be available here.

If they are his informace correct, it would be a significant improvement in terms of internal memory, since the base and Plus models of past flagships Galaxy Ss were usually available with 128 and 256GB, and variants with higher storage were usually only reserved for the top-of-the-line Ultra model. It should be available in memory versions of 8+256 GB, 12+256 GB, 12+512 GB and 12+1 TB, with the latter being the most common. Even in this case, it would be an improvement, since the previous Ultras only had 128GB of storage in the basic variant.

So if these rumors are to be believed, the upcoming series will be more expensive than last year's.

Prices in CZK are of course lower due to conversion. With us, taxes must be included as well as a two-year warranty, which increases the price. However, if we subtract last year's price from this year's price, we get a price increase of some 3 500 $, which is truly extreme and practically copies Apple's strategy.

We believe that Samsung is not Apple and does not have to copy its prices, which would also give it a competitive advantage. We believe that the prices will therefore jump by only a thousand CZK, when the base in the 256 GB version will therefore start at the same price tag as it started last year. When Galaxy S22 it is on the amount of CZK 22, in case Galaxy S22+ for the amount of CZK 27 and in case Galaxy S22 Ultra for the amount of CZK 34.
Still the prices are more acceptable than apple, so samsung could have better sales. 😉
