As you probably know from our previous news, Samsung is already working diligently on the One UI 5.1 superstructure. The phones of the series will be the first to run on it Galaxy S23. Now, it has given a glimpse into its One UI 5.1 update plans for its existing smartphones Galaxy.

Samsung has received a lot of praise for its speedy rollout Androidu 13/One UI 5.0 on supported devices Galaxy (the update process took only two months - from October to December last year). Next version Androidu even wants to boot even faster. We are not the only ones who hope that it can do it even before with the One UI 5.1 superstructure. Apparently, it is currently testing it on several devices, including a series Galaxy S22 or jigsaw puzzles Galaxy From Fold4.

As noticed by the web 9to5Google, change log to latest update for the watch series Galaxy Watch5 explicitly refers to the imminent arrival of One UI 5.1. Samsung also lists phones compatible with the new camera controller feature that this update makes available on the watch.

Putting these two things together (that is, One UI 5.1 testing and the aforementioned update), we have no doubt that Samsung will release the next version of One UI together with the introduction of the series Galaxy S23 beginning February. The list of devices that support the remote camera function is basically the same as the list of phones that will receive One UI 5.1. Specifically, these devices are:

  • Advice Galaxy S22
  • Advice Galaxy S21
  • Advice Galaxy S20
  • Galaxy Z Flip
  • Galaxy ZFlip 5G
  • Galaxy ZFold2
  • Galaxy Z-Flip3
  • Galaxy ZFold3
  • Galaxy From Flip4
  • Galaxy ZFold4

We can assume that One UI 5.1 will eventually make its way to affordable phones Galaxy A a Galaxy M. They just don't have to be first in line, nor do they necessarily support the camera remote control function when paired with Galaxy Watch5. Hopefully, Samsung will release more detailed update plans regarding One UI 5.1 in the near future.
