Galaxy The S23 Ultra will feature a new ISOCELL HP2 camera sensor and, for the first time in an S-series flagship, will have a 200 MPx resolution. It seems that Samsung has once again joined the battle for the top of the mobile camera quality charts with the most megapixel strategy, but this time it may not seem like it's just doing it for marketing.

The sample photo you see below is said to have been taken using the primary 200MPx camera Galaxy S23 Ultra. It may not look like it, but this is not a photo taken with a 3x or 10x telephoto lens. Instead, the source (Ice Universe) states that this is a regular 200MPx photo that has been enlarged and cropped several times using a photo editor. But do you know how many times the author enlarged it?

Galaxy S23Ultra

Incredible level of detail

This sample photo from the primary 200MPx camera Galaxy The S23 Ultra shows the incredible level of detail that the upcoming flagship can capture (supposedly). The image is sharp, without noise and other visual artifacts that usually occur when zooming in on a photo. It's almost like it's not even a cutout.

The ISOCELL HP2 is a 1/1,3-inch sensor with a pixel size of 0,6 µm that promises faster and better autofocus in low light thanks to Super QPD (Quad Phase Detection) technology. Samsung's leaked promotional materials have already teased a photo shoot with Galaxy S23 Ultra in low light and it's clear that this new sensor will be one of the main selling points of the upcoming flagship.

So now we still owe you the answer to how many times the sample photo was zoomed in on. According to the author, 12 times.
