Just a few days before the introduction of its next flagship line Galaxy S23 applied to Samsung for a trademark for a new display technology that will be used in future products. It looks like its display division Samsung Display is improving its already excellent OLED technology.

how are you noticed websites Galaxy Club, Samsung at home applied to register the Lifelike Pixel trademark. We can only speculate as to how this technology will work at this point, but we can expect it to be used in the Korean giant's future OLED displays for smartphones and tablets. However, it does not have to be limited to these two categories of devices, in time it could reach other devices as well, such as displays for virtual or augmented reality, laptops or smart watches.

Samsung applied to register this trademark on the same day it filed for the Flex Hybrid trademark. Under this name hides a new type of OLED display that bends and extends at the same time. It is designed for future notebooks that can be folded into a much smaller size, and the Korean giant it showed (or rather its prototype or concept) at the recently concluded CES 2023 fair.

If we had to guess, the term Lifelike Pixel could somehow be related to the improved color reproduction through the OLED display. In the future, Samsung Display could supply this technology or function to other manufacturers of smartphones, tablets and other devices.
