At the recently concluded CES 2023, Samsung unveiled various OLED displays for smartphones and laptops, including Flex Hybrid, Flex Slideable Solo and Flex Slideable Duet. Now the Korean giant has shown a new smartphone OLED panel that can be folded both inward and outward.

An OLED display called Flex In & Out, made by Samsung's display division Samsung Display, could hit the web The Verge, has a 360-degree hinge that can fold the screen in and out. Samsung spokesperson John Lucas also told the site that the display uses a new type of drop-shaped hinge that creates a significantly less visible notch. It also helps the foldable device to achieve a gapless design when closed.

This is reportedly not the first time Samsung has shown this panel. Before that, it was supposed to appear at the South Korean IMID (International Meeting for Information Displays) fair. According to available leaks, he could make his debut next year Galaxy Z Fold.
