As you are well aware, Samsung in its next flagship series Galaxy S23 will use the Snapdragon chip in all markets of the world. It will be the first time ever in the history of the series Galaxy S. This change comes after years of disappointment with proprietary Exynos chipsets. A row Galaxy S23 is specifically supposed to drive overclocked version chip Snapdragon 8 Gen2. Now it has penetrated the ether informace, that Samsung expects to use a special Snapdragon next year as well.

According to a known leaker Yogesh Brar does Samsung plan to use Snapdragon chips for Galaxy in its high-end smartphones until its own chipsets are as good as them. As you know, Exynos chipsets developed by Samsung's System LSI division haven't been as good as imagined in the past few years. They always fell short of competing Qualcomm chips in terms of performance (though not by that much) and had energy efficiency issues (this was much more serious as it resulted in poorer battery life).

Therefore, the mobile division of the Korean giant should have created a special team of engineers that would design chips tailored to high-end smartphones Galaxy. The first such chip, which may not bear the Exynos name, will reportedly debut in the series phones Galaxy S25 in two years. Samsung should therefore use the higher-clocked versions of Qualcomm's flagship chips for at least the next year.
