Here is a list of Samsung devices that received a software update during the week of January 23-27. This time there are only two, namely Galaxy A30 a Galaxy M51.

Samsung started issuing the January security patch to both older phones. AT Galaxy A30 carries an updated firmware version A305FDDS6CWA3 and was the first to arrive in Sri Lanka and Galaxy M51 version M515FXXS4DWA3 and was the first to be available in Mexico, Panama, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil. In the following days, both updates should spread to other countries.

The January security patch addresses more than 50 high-risk issues androidof these vulnerabilities. In its software, Samsung fixed, among other things, an entry bug in TelephonyUI that allowed attackers to configure "preferred calling", a hard-coded encryption key vulnerability in NFC by adding the correct use of a random private key interface to prevent key disclosure, incorrect access control in telecommunications applications using access control logic to prevent the leakage of sensitive information, or a vulnerability in the Samsung Knox security service related to permissions or privileges.
