On Monday, January 30, Samsung held a special event for journalists to introduce the series Galaxy S23. We had the opportunity to touch all three models, which is perhaps the most interesting Galaxy S23 Ultra, but the Plus model certainly has something to offer. Design and same dimensions?
With regard to the design change, we can only refer to the same thing that we wrote about the first impressions in the case of the smallest member of the series. Here, the situation is exactly the same, only the camera lenses obviously take up less space, because the phone body is larger compared to them. Otherwise, the body has slightly grown in its proportions, but these are negligible numbers. Samsung said that it is due to the redesign of the internal layout, where it has fundamentally increased the cooling.

It is for someone Galaxy S23 small, Galaxy 23 Ultra, but again too big (this also applies to previous generations). That is why there is also a golden mean in the form Galaxy S23+. It offers a great large display and high-end functions, but does without such things that many may consider unnecessary - a curved display, S Pen, 200 MPx and maybe even 12 GB of RAM, etc.

Cameras half way?
The whole range has the same new selfie 12MPx camera and it's perhaps a shame that Samsung didn't loosen up a bit on the middle model of the range and give it the 108MPx from last year's Ultra. It now has a 200MPx sensor, but the whole trio u Galaxy S23 remained the same. It's not harmful, because we know that the software also does a lot, but it's marketing and derogatory comments that don't see a technological shift in the same specifications and thus defame the news.

Just remember that the iPhone 14 still only has 12 MPx, but it is not the same 12 MPx as in the iPhone 13, 12, 11, Xs, X and older. We'll see what the first results look like, but we're not too worried about them. The phones still had pre-production software, so we couldn't download data from them. We'll share sample photos as soon as the phones arrive for testing. But if the Plus model had a better camera than the basic one Galaxy S23, Samsung could differentiate the two phones even more, which would definitely be beneficial.
Golden mean?
In my opinion, the Plus model is unfairly overlooked. Although the basic model is cheaper, that's why it's also more popular, but thanks to the spread of fingers and eyes on the larger display, it can be worth paying extra, and I personally really hope that Samsung doesn't plan to cut this middle model of the series, as was hotly speculated some time ago . The ability to choose is the benefit that the S series offers its customers.
Cameras at Galaxy S23 and S23+
Of course, it's worse with the pricing policy, which is simply the way it is and we don't do anything about it. According to our first acquaintance with the entire series and according to the paper specifications, so far in our opinion it is a worthy successor to the previous series, which does not take leaps and bounds forward, but simply evolves and improves. However, if the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro should start to worry, it is difficult to say yet. The success of the series will not only be determined by how capable it is, but also by the global situation, which also affects the price. And now it's bad.
