One of the main advantages of the new top "flag" of Samsung Galaxy S23Ultra supposed to be its 200MPx camera. The website has now decided to check its quality GSMArena, who took several pictures with it outside in good light and inside in worse light. He then compared the photos with the ones he had taken Galaxy S22Ultra.

The pictures he took Galaxy The S23 Ultra at 1x, 3x and 10x zoom levels are more detailed than those captured by its predecessor at the same zoom levels. Sharpness is also better in the first case, which increases the feeling of higher details.

3x and 10x magnified photos are also noticeably sharper at Galaxy S23 Ultra. They do have a bit of noise, but that's a small price to pay for the higher level of detail. They also retain subtle textures that are simply blurred in the photos of its predecessor.

A few more photos were taken inside. It follows from them that the new Ultra can capture much more detail even in poor lighting in exchange for a little noise. The details are truly fascinating - note, for example, the Kodak Instamatic 33 lettering in the photo of the shelves, which is on Galaxy S23 Ultra fully readable while on Galaxy S22 significantly worse.

Finally, GSMArena took one sample image at full 200MPx and one at 50MPx resolution to see what the highest possible resolution offered (the previous images were taken in default mode, i.e. 12MPx resolution using pixel binning). The website noted that these photos took several seconds to complete.
