Introduced on Wednesday Galaxy The S23 Ultra follows in the footsteps of its predecessor and comes with an S Pen built into a dedicated slot. But has his technology improved in any way?

Galaxy The S23 Ultra uses the same S Pen technology as its predecessor. And while this may disappoint some, it should be remembered that the S Pen pro Galaxy The S22 Ultra has made one of the biggest technological leaps in recent years. In other words, S Pen pro Galaxy The S23 Ultra is no "sharpener", although it has remained the same as last year.

Samsung at the event Galaxy Unpacked didn't talk much about the S Pen, which probably means it didn't even improve its internal hardware either. However, this year's S Pen appears to have the same low 2,8ms latency as last year's model. This very likely also means that Galaxy The S23 Ultra uses the same S Pen technology and improved Wacom IC as the S22 Ultra. This integrated circuit uses a multi-point algorithm that can predict the direction the S Pen might move next.
