With the introduction of the new flagship series Galaxy S23 Samsung is fully returning to the development of software updates. A few hours ago, he started releasing a new (ie February) security patch for the series Galaxy Note20. And now he has released an update for Galaxy Store that brings the Material You icon.

Starting last year, Samsung started introducing dynamic Material You icons to its native apps. It has now started releasing an icon with Google's new design language for the app store Galaxy Store. The new update raises its version to 6.6.09.62. If you want to update the app, open it and check if you have already received the latest update. Some users who haven't received the update yet tried changing the date on their phone to February 7, 2023 and the trick worked so you can try it too. The new icon changes its original pink color to one inspired by your phone's wallpaper colors.

We can only hope that all of the Korean giant's native apps (including those not pre-installed on its phones and tablets) will eventually get the Material You dynamic icon. The entire user interface would thus have a uniform appearance, which many users would appreciate. However, not everyone may like the new design, so it's good that it can be turned off in Settings.
