Samsung introduced in the series Galaxy S23 and superstructure Androidu 13 in the form of One UI 5.1 many subtle improvements. But one of the new functions is also the possibility to bypass the phones Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra charging during their excessive activity. This feature could be very useful for all gamers or anyone who wants to take even more care of their device's battery.

The feature is called Pause USB Power Delivery, and you can find it in the Game Booster settings in the row Galaxy S23. It simply allows the phone to supply input power directly to the chip, meaning the phone's battery won't charge in that case. Diverting power to the battery directly to the chipset generates less heat, which also results in better sustained performance and helps the battery itself reduce charge cycles.

The feature is currently only available in the range Galaxy S23 and we are not sure if it is limited to newer hardware, newer version of Game Booster or One UI 5.1. As it shows picture above, Galaxy The S23 Ultra consumes 6W of power when the feature is on, but when it is off, the smartphone consumes 17W of power.

It's rather strange that Samsung didn't mention this feature either when introducing the new range of phones, or anywhere in the accompanying materials, such as the One UI 5.1 changelog. This is a rather revolutionary function that can improve mobile gaming a bit by not burning your hands. Let's hope Samsung brings it to other smartphones and tablets in the future Galaxy and it won't be exclusive to just the series Galaxy S.
