There have been a few reports floating around the airwaves recently suggesting that Samsung will be to exclusively use the Snapdragon chipset in its flagships next year as well. This means that the phones range Galaxy The S24 will most likely use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. While details about it are unknown at this point, an image has now surfaced online showing its score on the popular Geekbench benchmark. According to an image posted by a user of the Korean technology website meeco.kr named USA, the alleged Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 scored 1930 points on Geekbench in the single-core test and 6236 points in the multi-core test. For comparison: iPhone 14 Pro with chip Apple The A16 Bionic scored 1870 points in the single-core test and 5380 points in the multi-core test. So it's 3 or 15% slower than the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. US also claims that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be 20% more power efficient than Snapdragon 8 Gen2 and that it will have a ten-core processor. Frankly, we don't find this leak very credible. For one thing, the deca-core processor doesn't currently use any Snapdragon, and for another, the image doesn't show one informace about the chip, only about the operating system. However, if the leak is based on truth, it would be great news for Samsung fans, albeit at launch time Galaxy S24 will have Apple already on the market iPhone 15 Pro with the A17 Bionic chip, which will still be a step ahead of any chip available on the Android phones.
Finally, it would make sense to switch to the S24 from the S22 series. Now the 23 is a big misery :/

I am quite disappointed with the S22 regarding the photos. Exynos is fine, but the photos are miserable. This is what I'm after. And I really don't care about the snap.
