Galaxy The S20 FE was a worldwide hit, but a successor in form Galaxy The S21 FE didn't do as well, partly due to its higher price. Last year, Samsung missed the launch Galaxy S22 FE due to chip shortage and global economic downturn completely. However, new reports claim that we haven't said goodbye to the Fan Edition series just yet.

News specifically, they state that Samsung will launch a new smartphone Galaxy With the Fan Edition, which it should be logically Galaxy S23 FE, in the second half of 2023. Samsung apparently managed to sell over 10 million units Galaxy S20 FE, but compared to that Galaxy The S21 FE faltered considerably in sales. Even Galaxy The A73 had dismal sales figures with only three million units sold.

So the company is now carefully planning its portfolio to avoid cannibalizing sales between devices. Supposedly he misses out Galaxy A74 and Аčka series 7 in general to improve the sales of the upcoming one Galaxy S23 FE. Although we don't know much about the phone yet, its chipset is said not to be the Exynos 2300, but rather the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, or last year's flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

The problem here, of course, is the timing of the show. In the summer, we have puzzles waiting for us, so Samsung is clearly busy there, September belongs to iPhones, when the new FE would be clearly overshadowed. Then again, we are relatively close to the launch of the series Galaxy S24, when many can wait for the discount of the current or last year's series rather than buy a new but to a certain extent truncated model. That he should Galaxy S23 FE makes sense, Samsung should introduce it in the 2nd quarter, but it probably won't make it.
